My Artistic Statement

“ My goal in creating my Artwork is to capture the intrinsic beauty of mother nature.

I am inspired by her colors, textures, shapes and nuances.  I want the viewer of my artwork to feel a sense of peaceful calm; as when we view the setting sun in a pretty sky or noticing that gorgeous flower growing in a garden.”

In the past 6 months I have been Plein Air Painting (painting outside).

It’s been a fun journey & learning challenge to paint directly from Nature in all her elements, hot, cold, sunny and rainy and I love it!
